Ow! Birthday cripple.

Fell a short distance out of a tree and turned my ankle badly yesterday afternoon. Various medical professionals (GP at scene, Red Cross guy, ambulance crew, triage nurse) thought it broken, but it's not. Crutches, compression bandages, elevation, ice, painkillers.
All adding up today to my second tricky birthday in a row (last year our car was written off in an accident).
With luck I'll be walking unaided by my party on Saturday, but I won't be dancing for quite a while.
